We are interested  in growing our membership and welcome your potential involvement.  We look for individuals that are accredited investors and have the financial ability risk tolerance and desire to make early stage investments.  Members are also required to invest time in one or more of the operating groups within Sand Hill Angels in addition to time that may be required to mentor portfolio companies.  Unlike many angel groups,  we do not admit prospective members whose overriding interest is in offering services to presenting start-up companies. Lastly, we seek members that are accomplished in building start-ups and have domain expertise that can be brought to bear in the evaluation of investment opportunities.

While we make investments via the LLC vehicle, all members are not required to contribute to the funding of an LLC.  An LLC is formed around those members that have an interest in investing in company and at amounts that are at the member's discretion.

The culture of the organization is highly collaborative, team oriented, and professional.  We learn from one another and believe that we fundamentally make better decisions as a group than as individuals.  We are all dedicated to the group's growth and success.  And finally, we are dedicated to making private equity investments that earn superior venture returns through both acquisition and public offering investor exit events.
