Jo-ning Ta is CTO in Symbio which is one of the leading global outsourced product development companies. Working in Technology Solutions, Jo-ning has been focusing on leveraging new technologies and Symbio’s design & development capabilities to define offerings and provide solutions for clients.  He has 25 years of experience in managing and developing software from large-scale, high performance distributed systems, middleware, applications, and embedded devices in areas of Internet, mobile, enterprise, and telecom in successful start-ups as well as leading corporations. Jo-ning was VP Eng for Spark Tech, a start-up in developing embedded devices and app & server to bridge personal rich media data among mobile phone, desktop and the web. Jo-ning was VP Eng and co-founder of Mobile Radius, a mobile content charging and personalized marketing solution start-up. Jo-ning was VP Eng for Sina.com, a leading Chinese Internet portal and online media company. Jo-ning was with Netscape leading the development of ecommerce, workflow systems, and the Internet application and database access framework. Jo-ning also held various technical and management positions in Bell Communication Research, MMI, HP, Oracle, and Gupta.

Jo-ning received his MS in Computer Science from University of Southern California and BS in Physics from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
