Pong Lim is the founder and CEO of LCG Investments, LLC, an investment management company and a Registered Investment Adviser.  Pong manages a family of funds that invest in hedge funds, venture funds, and private equity funds generating short and long term returns for his partners.

Prior to focusing on investment management, Pong spent over 25 years working in various positions in marketing, finance, engineering and senior management for Alcatel/DSC/Granger Associates, Fairchild Semiconductors, Crown Zellerbach and Proctor & Gamble.  In early 1980 at Fairchild Semiconductor, Pong was directly involved in starting the Gate Array and ASIC markets.  Later at Granger Associates, Pong was directly involved in turning around the company and started six new businesses targeting the telecom industry.  In 1994, Pong re-founded Ditech Communications and led the company as President/COO/CEO/Chairman to a highly successful IPO in 1999.

Since 2000, Pong has been actively investing in venture capital, private equity and hedge funds in addition to starting a number of high technology companies and served as a board member.  Pong is currently serving as an active board member of VisaNow.com, an internet based immigration processing company.  In 2007, Pong started LCG Investments, LLC and launched Lim Capital Fund, a hedge fund of funds, to generate short term returns while waiting to harvest long term returns from venture and private equity funds for his partners.

Pong has been coaching entrepreneurs on how to create value for private and public markets, and pitfalls to avoid, based on his hands-on investing experience and domain knowledge in semiconductors, optical and wireless telecom systems, and e-commerce.  Most importantly, Pong has been coaching entrepreneurs not just to grow a startup but to create a long term plan to preserve and grow their wealth after their ventures become successful.
