Bill Kunz serves as a Vice Presient of Sand Hill Angels and is also Managing Partner of Mindful Ventures, LLC an early stage incubator. He was previously a principal in Broadband Enterprises dividing his time between seed stage company investigations and working with private company clients including California Eastern Labs. Bill has a BSEE from UC Davis and an MSEE from UC Berkeley, both with high honors.

Mr. Kunz started his career in 1979 on the Agilent side of Hewlett Packard in Santa Rosa followed by eight years at HP Labs. He contributed to several product lines including taking the DC- 50 GHz Sampling Oscilloscope from concept to product. Bill returned to operating divisions for six additional years working on wireless systems and components. His final position at HP was LMDS Base Station Program Manager. When this project was sold to Lucent Technologies in 1998, he joined Wireless, Inc.

At Wireless Bill was responsible for Engineering, NPI and IT. He was also interim General Manager during the integration of Multi-Point Networks. Wireless was acquired by Interwave Communications and subsequently IWAV was sold to Alvarion. His final position was SVP Engineering and CTO.
