Bill Mince

Bill has over thirty years experience in product development, operations, startups and acquisitions/integrations. He is currently the V.P. of North American Operations for Natus Medical responsible for oversight of five divisions with revenue of $160mm. He has been involved in numerous acquisitions in his career and seven in the last four years. Prior to joining Natus he was an independent consultant in the medical device and digital entertainment industries. He also served as President and COO of Ophthalmic Imaging Systems, a small public medical device company, during a turn around that led to selling the company to Premier Laser.

Bill was a member of the start-up team at Premier Retail Networks where he conceived and developed the largest in-store entertainment network in the country for retailers such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears, Best Buy and Circuit City. The network sends digital files over satellite to each store’s media server and LAN to provide a private television broadcast and customer sampling of music, DVD’s and video games.

Bill spent six years with Nellcor/Puritan Bennett, a medical device and disposable sensor manufacturing company.  He managed the development team that introduced the world’s first fetal oximeter.  He was also responsible for the transfer of all manufacturing from the Bay Area facility to Southern California including the disposable sensors to their own Maquiladora in Tijuana, Mexico.

Before joining Nellcor, Bill was with Square D where he started up their first Maquiladora manufacturing facility in Tijuana.  He spent 12 years with a 3M medical device subsidiary early in his career in various manufacturing and operations management positions. 

Bill received a BSBA from the University of Redlands and an MBA from National University with an emphasis in Organizational Development. He has been awarded six patents with two more in process. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Family Service Agency of San Mateo.
