Dr. Gal Cohen has over 15 years experience in the IT and life sciences markets, as a strategic consultant, product and R&D manager, and research scientist.

He is currently the Associate Director of New Product Planning at Nektar. Formerly, he served as a consultant at Front Line Strategic Management Consulting, where he has consulted to the leading life sciences, IT, materials sciences, and consumer companies, in the areas of business, product and technology strategy. Previously, he co-founded a venture backed IT services company whose customers included Palm, eBay, and AT&T, and was a manager of R&D at SONY. He is a board member of a publicly traded life sciences company in Hong Kong.

His background includes a MSEE and Ph.D from Stanford and post-doctoral experience at UCSF.
