Marcus Ogawa is a Managing Partner with Quest Venture Partners; an early stage venture fund that focuses on emerging internet startups. He is responsible for finding investments, negotiating terms and working closely with portfolio companies. Marcus was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and is a bilingual, dual national of Japan and the United States. Prior to joining Quest Venture Partners, Marcus has worked with a number of startups and established companies ranging from Internet, distributed computing, real estate, and news media. He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and holds several certifications in networking, network design and administration from Cisco, Novell and CompTIA. Marcus currently sits on the board of fididel, Inc, an ecommerce platform company that allows for real time negotiation of prices for goods and services online. Marcus enjoys philosophizing, conceptualizing, theorizing and implementing technological ideas, traveling, strategy gaming, fishing, reading and spending time with his wife.
