Michael Trager, D.M.D., has been a practicing clinical endodontist for more than 26 years as well as having served as an assistant professor in endodontics at the UCLA School of Medicine and Dentistry for 10 years. He has been involved in various capacities on the boards of several dental organizations in southern California and has served as the director of the department of dental surgery and services at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, California, and also as the president of the Southern California Academy of Endodontics. His career as a clinical dental specialist in private practice has led him to become interested and focused on the clinical possibilities and applications of disruptive developments in life science technologies.
Michael received his B.A. degree in psychobiology from UCLA and his D.M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and completed his postdoctoral residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to his membership in Sand Hill Angels, he currently serves on the advisory board of Berkana Resources, a privately held company performing support services in the areas of monitoring and compliance for international oil and gas corporations, and continues to practice clinical endodontics in the Bay Area on a part-time schedule.
