ACG Silicon Valley Names Drue Freeman CEO

March 6, 2018

ACG Silicon Valley, a chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, today announced it has named former senior vice president of global automotive sales and marketing for NXP Semiconductors Drue Freeman as CEO, effective March 1. Freeman succeeds Sally Pera, who is retiring after 13 years as ACG Silicon Valley’s CEO.

“During his distinguished career, Drue lived and worked for 17 years in Japan, Germany and China. His global experience as a leader in tech and business development will complement our board’s commitment to growing ACGSV and strengthening our relationship with the Valley’s most innovative companies,” said John Maydonovitch, ACG Silicon Valley board chairman. “We look forward to his contributions and the leadership he’ll bring to the organization.”

With over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Freeman currently advises and consults on business growth and invests in technology companies disrupting the multitrillion-dollar automotive and ground transportation industry. He also serves on the board of directors at Sand Hill Angels, a group of successful Silicon Valley executives and accredited investors who are passionate about entrepreneurialism and the commercialization of disruptive technologies.
